    My very own masterpiece.
Well, I don't know if it is a masterpiece, but I had a lot of fun putting it together.

I'm 64% Dixie. Not too surprising since Dad's side of the family is from the south.

You scored as Albus Dumbledore, Strong and powerful you admirably defend your world and your charges against those who would seek to harm them. However sometimes you can fail to do what you must because you care too much to cause suffering.

    off of restriction
So since I now have a job, I gave in and took myself off of my self-imposed book-buying restriction. I was going to wait until I got my first pay check but we went to Costco today and they just happened to have two books I have been anxious to buy and two that I merely wanted.
I picked up the new Harry Potter, The Children of Hurin, Blaze (Richard Bachman\S. King), and Lisey's Story (S. King). I'll probably start reading the Potter tonight after I finish up Wings by Prachett.

Still on my must buy list:
Going Postal, Truckers, & Diggers - all by T. Pratchett
    Interworld & Eternals - N. Gaiman

I'll wait till my 2nd paycheck before buying anything else...

    hey tech\gadget geeks

I've been asked to recommend the top three newest spiffiest money-doesn't-matter hottest sim-using blackberry devices.  Since I'm not much of a gadget geek - anyone have any suggestions?

If not a blackberry, any gadget that uses either Palm, Symbian, Windows Mobile Pocket PC, or Windows Mobile Smart Phone.

Basically, what is the newest released or about to be released phone out there

I now understand why that say you should have eight hours to dedicate to sleep when you take a sleep pill.

Waking up 4 hours after taking one kind of feels like day 3 of sleep dep.

    belated TD post
I made my first complete Thanksgiving Dinner this year at M's house for him, his kids, and 4 of our friends.

    The Menu:
    Turkey Breast & Gravy
    Ham
    Sage & Apple Stuffing
    Green Bean casserole
    Sweet Potato casserole
    Jello Salad
    Green Salad
    Rolls
    Apple Pie
    Pumpkin Pie

I made everything from scratch except for the pie crusts (ran out of time) and I had the complete dinner done at exactly the same time and the pies were done & set about 2.5 hours after dinner.

I was pretty happy with how everything turned out. Almost everyone even had seconds of the Sweet Potatoes after initially saying they didn't like sweet potatoes. I didn't add sugar to them, only pumpkin type seasoning (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, cloves). My favorites were the stuffing and the apple pie. The only dish I wish I had made were my brussel sprouts, but we had more than enough food as it was. On Monday, I was happily surprised when M told our waitress and his father that it was the best Thanksgiving dinner he had ever had.
